The Association
The Lordswood Community Centre, is operated by an indipendent charity, "The Lordswood Residents and Community Association" LRCA CIO registered charity no 1171985
The board is made up of residents, community leaders and council members, all with one goal in mind. To provide the best possible services and community resources to the residents of Lordswood. Our hall is home to many groups, gatherings and community ventures, including Brownies and Guides, Churches and martial arts clubs.
The Centre
The community centre is undergoing a generous upgrade and expansion project. Currently, we have two halls, but we will soon expand to three, plus our resident nursery. We hold craft fairs, Christmas markets, table-top sales, talks, and special-interest events.
Our halls and grounds offer many opportunities for the local community, including sports, coffee mornings, church gatherings, parties, and corporate and private functions. Our main hall is available to hire - contact us by calling 07542 606131 or email: lordswordccso16@gmail.com
Our Future
Upgrading for the future of our community
We've got some big, exciting plans for the future of the community centre, and we are well on the way to achieving them, thanks entirely to the support of the Lordswood community.
Our growth project will ensure the community centre's future viability, with greater choice and wider availability for the community as a whole.
Our ambitious project includes renovating the existing building, while adding extra rooms, and expanding the estate to offer two similarly sized large halls and an additional smaller, multi-use space. We're adding another kitchen, additional private cubicle toilets, upgraded external facilities and office space.
